You may be wondering, what is Carve N Pour?
From Hobby to Habit
Over the years, our family developed a love for creating, design, and making. Starting with a small die-cutting machine and some ingenuity, we began crafting gifts for family and friends.
After a short time, the recipients started making requests for custom works. Someone would make a request, and one of us would reply, “sure, we can do that.”
At first, we focused on hand-painted bottles lit by string LEDs. Often, we would batch out shirts for special occasions. Then, due to our needs, a couple of us started doing woodworking to replace furniture around the house.
Through all of this, we learned a ton, including computer design and 3D modeling, which transitioned well to CAD and CAM work. We liked the idea of adding custom carves and 3D reliefs to our woodworking, so we purchased a CNC router. This allows for an enhanced level of customization!
As time went on, our passion for art and wood-crafting inspired us to start Carve N Pour. Each of us holds a unique skill set, which allows us to fulfill a variety of requests.
We love to pour resins and acrylic paints to add a splash of color to our portfolio. From river tables to jewelry to canvases to hand-turned hollow forms, we have it covered.
Carve N Pour – Up For The Challenge
Each one of us holds a unique skill set, which allows us to fulfill a variety of requests. We know our abilities and our limitations.
Every finished product that we create incorporates essential elements of creativity. We produce goods that:
- Serve a purpose or solve a problem
- Astonish us and others with their beauty
- Are handmade with outstanding craft and skill
- Use unusual, reclaimed, or recycled materials
We specialize in finished wood pieces – furniture, signs, and decor accompanied by resin pours and artwork and original abstract paintings.
Nature’s beauty only enhances our work. One thing that separates from others is that we incorporate live edge wood in our woodworking. On the other hand, when it makes sense we will use reclaimed woods and other materials to minimize the impact on the environment.
